Abstract

From a large hoard of approximately 250 coins, only ten pieces, dating from 1530–1633, have been described. The coins come from the Northern Netherlands, Austria, Hungary and Transylvania. The work relates the hoard to the background of the military events of the Thirty Years’ War and to hoards consisting exclusively gold coins, found in the Bohemian Crown Lands
