On September 16–19, 2025, Legnica hosted the eighth edition of the international scientific conference Numismatica Centroeuropaea VIII – Domini naturales, organized by the Copper Museum in Legnica in cooperation with the Legnica Culture Center. The meeting was attended by 90 people, including 52 researchers from nine European countries – Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Ukraine, Belarus, Spain and Romania – who presented papers and posters on coinage and the history of money from ancient times to the modern era. The proceedings were accompanied by the presentation of a jubilee book to Prof. B. Paszkiewicz and the opening of an exhibition entitled “The Money of the Piasts.” A book of abstracts (ISBN 978-83-88155-86-4) was published, containing the conference program, abstracts of the presentations in English and the author's original language, as well as brief information about the exhibition.
