Submissions

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

1. The manuscripts should be submitted in the electronic version by email krzysztof.jarzecki@gmail.com, mielczmar@o2.pl or on CD to the address Instytut Archeologii i Etnologii PAN, Ośrodek w Łodzi, ul. Tylna 1, 90-364 Łódź, Poland. If you send the material on a CD, please provide your email address. By submitting a manuscript you are also agreeing to submit it for a review and publication in print and electronic form. The authors have insight into the reviews.
2. Manuscripts intended for publication should be submitted in Microsoft Word for Windows in .doc, .docx or .rtf format with minimal formatting (do not formate the text with spaces, do not divide words, to indent using Tab key e.t.c.). Standard text, ie. A4 format, font Times New Roman, 12-point type, interline 1,5, all margins 2,5 cm, text justified.
3. We accept the texts in Polish, English, Russian, German, French and Italian.
4. Do not transliterate Cyrillic alphabets, Greek e.t.c. to Latin.
5. Please submit information about author’s affiliation, abstract in the language of the text (from 900 to 1800 characters with spaces) and keywords (at least 6).
6. The text should have auto-generated footnotes as per the example: „Mikocki 1995, s. 30.” (at the bottom of the page), „Mikocki 1995 – T. Mikocki, Sub specie deae. Les impératrices romaines assimilées a des déesses. Etude iconologique, Rome 1995.” (in the reference list).
7. Each figure should be submitted as a separate file .jpg or .tiff with a resolution at least 300 dpi. Figures should be numbered consecutively in accordance with their apparence in the text. The file name should contain number of the figure. Figure descriptions should be placed at the end of the text. If a figure has been previously published, the source should be given.
8. Photos, drawings, plans and charts should should have a uniform numbering as figures. Tables should be numbered separately.
