Abstrakt
The aim of this paper is an exploration of broadly defined „change" in life and biography of people who struggle with malignant cancer. I focus on "positive" (according to informants) changes in life inspired by illness. These are: reconstruction of habits, new food and diet patterns, physical activity and changes in attitude toward body and reconstruction of character and personality. By careful observation of body and managements of emotions, informants have learned how to cope with disease, but also how to struggle in more efficient way with daily obstacles and regular life challenges.
