Abstract

The article includes a critical edition of an inventory of movable property belonging to Jan Pisarzowski (1599–1679), a land judge from Zator. The source was preserved in a manuscript kept in the Jagiellonian Library. The document was probably written between 1679 and 1687 when Jan’s heirs registered it in the court books of Oświęcim. The document was written by Adam Jacek Pisarzowski, the oldest of the deceased’s inheritors. It contains a detailed description of Jan Pisarzowski’s movable property and
a register of bills from the sale of each item.
