Abstrakt
The article deals with an important element of culture – sport and its dynamic connections with
one of the most relevant issues of contemporary cultural anthropology – various expressions of ethnic,
cultural and collective identity.
The author tries to indicate the abovementioned academic subject taking into account one, parti-
cular nation – Scots and describes different connections between their ethnic identity and various
forms of sport.
