Abstract

The article concerns the town baths in Kazimierz in the early-modern period. On the basis of an enterprise revision from z 1644 and other municipal sources, especially accounts, it was possible to establish the location of the non-surviving building, to describe its architecture, equipment and investments made to provide it with running water. Floods, the Swedish occupation, or the shift of the channel of the Vistula in 1678, were events ruinous for the enterprise, which finally stopped working at the turn of the 18th c.
