Przedstawiony w niniejszym artykule projekt etnografii transrelacyjnej czerpie inspiracje z kilku istniejących propozycji teoretycznych, refleksji filozoficznych i założeń metodologicznych, a jego najogólniejszą ramą jest złożona, skomplikowana i relacyjna ontologia rzeczywistości. Propozycje filozoficzne, epistemiczne i metodologiczne, które przekraczają antropocentryzm i zwracają się ku światu więcej niż ludzkiemu, czyli posthumanizm, nowy materializm, koncepcja zamieszkiwania, oraz te osadzające proces poznania w praktykach uwikłania, czyli teoria asamblażu i etnografia wielogatunkowa, miały również wpływ na koncepcję etnografii transrelacyjnej, której kształt zarysowuję w artykule. W tekście rozważam wpływ tych nurtów i koncepcji na nowe antropologiczne imaginarium, argumentując, że etnografia transrelacyjna może odpowiedzieć na wyzwania Antropocenu, zmiany klimatu i jej społeczne, ekonomiczne i ekologiczne konsekwencje. Tekst przekonuje, że etnografia transrelacyjna pozwala nam na nieprzeoczenie złożonych relacji, które zachodzą w obecnych asamblażowych ludzko-nie-ludzkich - układach rzeczywistości.
