Abstract

The purpose of this article is to reflect on the ethical challenges of the Anthropocene. The ethical reflection is an indispensable part of the creation of anthropological knowledge, and then the process of its activation in academic and non-academic circulation. Ethics does not exist without man and follows man, his ability to think, empathy, imagination, empathy and responsibility. Ethics developed in the Anthropocene for current and future forms of socio-environmental and ecological-economic entanglement need not manifest itself in narratives of guilt and redemption, responsibility and remorse stemming from the frowning of eyebrows in the face of awareness of the climate crisis and devastation of the planet. It is therefore necessary to seek new ways of thinking that would change our optics of perceiving reality from categories of hierarchical arrangements to sets of multiple relationships that could promote the development of more sustainable economic practices, responsible social behavior and appropriate ethical patterns.
