Polish Academy of Sciences, a longstanding Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Archeologia Polski”, former Director of the Center of Rescue Archaeological Excavations at the Ministry of Culture and Science, member of different Polish and foreign scholarly organizations. In retirement for the past 20 years, the Jubilarian has been active continuously as a scholar in the Sopot and Gdańsk research centers.
