Archiving Policy
The editors of the journal Archaeological Review have a policy regarding digital preservation through archiving. Materials submitted to the journal's Editorial Office, so-called pre-print (the finished version of a document that has not yet passed the review and revision stage) and post-print (the finished version of a document after the review and revision stage, including changes made during the review process), are archived on the OJS platform for a period of two years after submission. The online published version (publisher's final file) is stored on the OJS platform indefinitely.
Additionally, the publisher files of Archaeological Review are published and archived in the RCIN (Digital Repository of Research Institutes) through a long-term storage system. Within RCIN, the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences publisher also provides the possibility of publishing and archiving original research data related to the published articles.
