Inventories and lease contracts for the Toruń New Town public bath (first half of the 18th century)

Abstract

History of bathhouses and bathkeepers’s craft in towns of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (16th-18th c.) has not been thoroughly studied. The edited sources show the changes in lease terms of the bathhouse in Toruń (Thorn) New Town in the first half of the 18th c. and document condition of the building when a new tenant overtook the lease.
